Elstead Village Tennis Club
Elstead tennis club have a number of teams which take part in both summer and winter. The club run Men’s, Ladies and Mixed Teams that compete in the ADLTA local league, Aegon Surrey and the Chaucer leagues. If you are interested in playing contact Scott Tunbridge.
The ADLTA league is a local league for clubs based within a radius of 10 miles of Aldershot. The winter league is based on a 2 pair format with 2 matches of 3 sets and is played at the weekend during the winter season. The summer season is played during the week and is based on teams of 3 pairs each playing one set matches against their opposite pair. The ADLTA is both competitive and friendly and all three categories of team play throughout the year.
Men’s and Ladies’ matches for the Winter season are played on Saturdays and Sundays usually in the morning. Mixed matches for the Winter season are played on weekday evenings.
In the Summer all matches are midweek starting at 6.30pm.
In the Winter Men’s and Ladies matches are on the weekends starting 10.00am Sunday or 2.00pm Saturday. Mixed matches are weekday evenings.

Tournaments
As well as competing against other clubs in the area, we run regular EVTC tournaments for fun and for trophies. Our online calendar helps keep you abreast of what’s going on.
Qualified Coaches
There’s individual and small group lessons at the weekends and opportunities to play in teams from under 8’s to under 16’s, plus the adult teams. With a ratio of 1.6 of coach to pupil, with licensed, qualified coaches, the children don’t just have a great learning environment; they have great fun as well.
Superb Facilities
We have 5 well maintained tarmac courts and 1 mini court, all floodlit for play throughout the year. Our well appointed clubhouse has patio doors both sides – perfect for taking in the action on-court. And we are lucky to be situated in a magnificent setting in one of Elstead’s accessible green spaces.
